Storyline & Sinker
Event coverage · Huntsville, Madison, and Madison County

Give people a reason to attend, return, and support what comes next.

Storyline & Sinker combines market research, audience understanding, and cinematic storytelling to help people see the experience and value behind your event.

We research who attends, who you want to reach, and what matters to the customers, community members, donors, sponsors, and partners whose involvement helps your work continue. Those findings guide who we interview, what we capture, how we edit, and the purpose of each finished piece.

Choose a concise recap, a developed event story, or a full documentary following the event from setup through teardown.

Storyline $1,250 · Storyline & Sinker $3,250 · Storyline & Sinker Documentary from $8,500. One location within Huntsville, Madison, or Madison County is included. Multi-day events keep one combined set of finished deliverables.

We build the story around the audience you need to reach and the decision you want to help them make.

The audience shapes the story.

Wearing headphones, a crew member in a dark suit watches a monitor framing a man speaking into a microphone across an office, with a softbox light and an audio-editing laptop nearby.
On setThe frame and the sound are monitored while someone answers the questions the research raised.

Before filming, we look at who the event serves, who needs to see the content afterward, and what those people need to understand.

  • Future attendee

A future attendee may need to picture the experience.

  • Potential customer

A potential customer may need to see the people and expertise behind a business.

  • Donor or sponsor

A donor or sponsor may need to understand what their involvement makes possible.

We turn that research into interview questions, filming priorities, and editorial decisions. The opening establishes relevance. The story supplies context and credible experiences. Each finished piece has a purpose and an appropriate next step.

For a citywide festival or nonprofit, the story can connect the public experience with the people, work, partnerships, and community contribution behind it. The finished content gives the organization something substantial to use in future promotion, community communication, and conversations about continued support.

How research shapes the finished work

We identify the audience’s interests, questions, reasons for participating, and barriers to taking the next step. That research becomes practical creative direction.

A purpose for every deliverable

We assign each included piece a primary audience and use.

Your website, social channels, follow-up communications, and sponsor or donor conversations may each use different pieces from the same collection. We plan those uses before filming so the finished work has somewhere useful to go.

  • Short filmA short film can introduce the experience to future attendees.

  • Sound-bite clipA participant’s sound-bite clip can answer a specific question in their own words.

  • CarouselA carousel can explain what happened and why it mattered.

  • DocumentaryA documentary can give supporters the context to understand the work and the community it serves.

How this could work

Storyline · three daysA three-day vendor market or festival could use Storyline for a selected two-hour window on each day. Coverage could feature different vendors, attendee reactions, demonstrations, and the atmosphere as the event develops. One 60-second recap and 30 edited photographs bring those highlights together.

Storyline & Sinker · three daysA three-day festival, vendor event, or conference could use Storyline & Sinker for selected four-hour windows on each day. Planned interviews with up to three key people establish the central story, while casual interviews, featured activities, and participant experiences show it unfolding. The result is one film up to three minutes in both screen formats, six captioned sound-bite clips, one 10-slide carousel, and 40 edited photographs across the entire booking.

Documentary · three daysA Documentary booking could follow a citywide festival from the build day through the public event and a separate teardown day. Research would establish which audience and support goal should lead the story, then guide interviews with organizers, contributors, and participants. The edit could connect the public experience to the work and community value behind it. Three covered days produce one 7–10-minute horizontal documentary, 12 captioned sound-bite clips, one teaser, one 10-slide carousel, and 60 photographs.
