Content creation or social media management: which does your business need?

Content creation supplies the material you publish. Social media management handles agreed work on the accounts, such as scheduling, publishing, and routine responses.

Wearing headphones, a crew member in a dark suit watches a monitor framing a man speaking into a microphone across an office, with a softbox light and an audio-editing laptop nearby.
Behind the scenes: monitoring an interview on set.

Choose content creation when your team needs original material and can handle the accounts. Choose creation with management when you also need someone to take responsibility for getting approved content published and handling routine conversations.

At Storyline & Sinker, the reels packages supply produced video for a team ready to publish it. The Full Content Plan adds a broader monthly mix of reels, carousels, and stories, with a coordinated calendar and ongoing guidance for your team’s own content. Management is available with the Full Content Plan; that connects the production and publishing work within one engagement.

Where does the work get stuck?

If you know your accounts need attention but keep running out of useful videos and images, start with production. Your team needs a repeatable way to capture the expertise, people, and work inside the business.

If you already have approved content but it sits in a folder, the gap is likely in publishing responsibility. Someone needs to prepare the schedule, put the content out, and check what comes back.

You may need both. Owners and small teams can find themselves responsible for every stage, from thinking of the idea to answering the inquiry. Define which stages you want to hand over before choosing a service.

What does each service handle?

When content creation is a practical fit

You have an owner, employee, or internal marketing person who can publish consistently and respond to customers. What they need is a reliable supply of original, useful material.

Our content packages provide planning, one monthly filming visit, editing, caption drafts, and final files with a suggested release sequence. Your team can concentrate on publishing and the conversations that follow.

The Full Content Plan adds carousels, twenty story pieces, a coordinated calendar, eight monthly prompts for your team’s own posts, a 30-minute monthly strategy call, and feedback on up to four client-created posts, drafts, or ideas. Your team creates and revises those additional pieces.

Six Reels is $750/month. Twelve Reels is $1,400/month. The Full Content Plan, with twelve reels, eight carousels, and twenty finished story pieces plus ongoing guidance, is $2,500/month. Each has a six-month term; one-time setup is $450 for the reels packages or $950 for the Full Content Plan.

When management is a practical fit

You want a clear owner for publishing and routine account conversations. You are prepared to approve the content and response guidance, and someone in your business is ready to handle interested leads after handoff.

The Full Content Plan with Posting and Responses starts at $3,350/month total for one platform. The Full Content Plan with Management and Outreach starts at $3,850/month total for one platform. Both include the plan’s twenty story pieces and consultation; the $950 one-time setup and six-month term also apply.

Management comes with defined activity allowances and business hours. Those details help you understand which tasks you have delegated and what remains with your team. Publishing covers the content we produce, up to twenty feed placements and twenty story pieces per platform each month; publishing content your team creates is agreed separately.

Can you delegate and still help shape the content?

Yes. The service you buy and your preferred working style are related decisions.

You can be a collaborator who wants to contribute to the direction and still add management to the Full Content Plan. You can also be a delegator who wants the production process handled while an employee takes care of posting.

In either case, your team supplies business knowledge, access for filming, and approval. We agree on the review points so the process has a clear rhythm.

See what the monthly process needs from you.

What if you need more inquiries?

Discuss the business objective as well as the production workload. Clarify what customers should do after seeing the content and who handles their next step.

If paid campaigns are part of the plan, ad campaign creation, ad management, and platform ad spend are separately scoped. We can discuss those needs alongside the content and account responsibilities.

Make the choice around responsibility.

Name the person who will own ideas, filming, approvals, publishing, account conversations, and sales follow-up. The gaps in that plan will help you see the support you need.

Compare packages or book a content call to work through that division together.
